Take tickets at the gate, assist during fair clean-up / prep days, help out in the food booth… there's no shortage of opportunities! Shifts run two to four hours; first-timers welcome and well-fed.

The 170th fair is packed up for another year. Thank you to everyone who came through the gates, showed an animal, submitted an entry to the exhibit hall, ran a heat, worked a shift, or stayed out for the last song on the Farmers Stage. See you next year!

Join us for the Beachburg Agricultural Society Annual General Meeting. We'll share an annual update, review proposed constitution updates, and hold our election of directors. Enjoy a snack, listen in, and vote if you're a current eligible member. Following the formal meeting, stay for refreshments and casual conversation as we look ahead to the 171st Beachburg Fair and what's in store for the year ahead.

It's simple: e-transfer your $5 membership fee to beachburgfair@gmail.com, or bring it to the AGM. If you see our posts, come to our events, or think the work we do adds value to our community, please become a member of the Society.
Membership comes with no obligation. You don't need to attend meetings or volunteer unless you'd like to. All are welcome at the AGM, members or not.

Life at the fair
A few moments from the 170th: the barns, the show ring, the midway and the derby.
One hundred and seventy years strong
The Beachburg Fair has been a staple in the community since 1857. An annual celebration for friends, family, and community members to look forward to after long winters and wet springs. It's an excuse to visit, reminisce, and let loose. And it still belongs to the people who built it.
The fair is run by the Beachburg Agricultural Society (BAS), a volunteer board of directors made up of farmers, parents, teachers, and tradespeople. The board gives hundreds of hours of their time to make these four magical days happen every year.
For 2026, the Society introduced an all-inclusive admission to the fair. One ticket, one price: midway rides, live music, modified truck and tractor pull, and the demolition derby all included. The fair belongs to everybody in the Ottawa Valley, and the gate price ought to feel that way too.

Exhibit
From dairy heifers to homemade preserves to a 4-H sheep entered for the very first time, the Heritage Hall and show rings welcome entries from across the Ottawa Valley.
Sponsor
Local sponsors pay for the lights over the derby track, the ribbons in the Heritage Hall, and help keep the fair affordable for the local community. Packages start at $100 for the 170th edition.
Vendors
Set up a booth at the fair: handmade goods, agricultural products, services and more. Indoor arena and outdoor grounds spaces are available, allocated first come, first served.
