1. Open to all Institutes in North Renfrew.
2. All exhibits to be placed on Thursday July 27, 2017 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.
3. Judging will conmmence at 9am on Friday July28, 2017.
4. Please notify the  Homecraft President Marsha 613-582-7015; before June 30th if you are putting in a display so space can be reserved.
5. Note: Heritage hall will be closed to the public on Sunday July 30, 2017 at 4:30pm and then open at 5pm for all exhibitors to pick up exhibits and displays by 6pm sharp.

Prize Money: $40, $35, $30, $25, all others $20

Theme: Our Heritage
keep in mind space for display is approx. 3ft in length by 2ft in depth

Display your choice of 4 items from each section for a total of Eight (8) items to make a complete display.

CANADA

1. An item depicting Canada’s history.

2. A collection of 150 items.

3. An item commemorating Canada’s centennial year.

4. A decorated cake  to celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday – max 9″x9″.

5. A table center of heritage fresh flowers not to exceed 8″ in height, container not to exceed 6″ wide.

6. 3 sugar cookies displayed on an antique plate.

 

WOMEN’S INSTITUTE

7. Pieced quilt block in Women’s Institute colours, pattern of your choice.

8. Old Home and Country magazine.

9. Old Women’s Institute program.

10. Antique item belonging to a Women’s Institute member past or present with a short history attached.

11. A picture (approx. 5×7) depicting a Women’s Institute branch celebration mounted with a one inch border.

12. A jar (250ml) raspberry jam, not freezer jam.
